What’s Going On

Tax Free Childcare

Tax-free Childcare is available to around 2 million households to help with the cost of childcare, enabling more parents to go out to work, if they want to, to provide greater security for their families. You’ll be able to open an online account, which you can pay into to cover the cost of childcare with Jozone. You’ll be able to apply for all your children at the same time, when your youngest child becomes eligible.

All eligible parents will be able to join the scheme by the end of 2017. For every 80p you put in the government will top up an extra 20p, this is equivalent of the tax most people pay – 20%.

Facebook

We just wanted to let you all know (or remind you if you already know) that we do have a Facebook page. We put information about any trips during the holidays or spaces we have for them plus we put pictures up of all the fun the children (and staff) have at both the holiday club and all our before and after school clubs, please check it out at https://www.facebook.com/jozone.kidsclub/timeline and like the page to get all the latest information.

Wanted

If any of you have any old children’s clothes ages 3-5 yrs please feel free to donate them to us, thank you in advance.

Computer Games

We are also on the look out for any playstation or Wii games, if you have any that you wish to either donate to us or sell to us please speak to the club managers, the games will need to be rated 3+

Thank you in advance

Payments

We have the use of 2 card machines, one will be kept at St Thomas More and one is at Chadsmead. There is a charge of £1 for credit cards and 50p for debit cards for payments under £20 as it costs us to run the machines.

If you would like to make a payment using the visa machine and are based at Gentleshaw or St Josephs please let a member of staff know who will get in contact with Katy at St Thomas More who will put the payment through.

Made a Difference (MAD) Reward Scheme

At Jozone we are starting a reward scheme for the staff to recognise the hard work we all put into the club, children staff parents and visitors can nominate staff members for the reward. If you feel a member of staff is worthy of the reward for something they have done then please feel free to write the name and reason for the nomination on a slip of paper and put it in the nominations box. You can find a nominations form on a Forms page!
